WHY CONSCIOUS AVANT-GARDE?

It reflects our brand philosophy in its entirety. It doesn't just refer to an ecological and environmental awareness; for us, it is a concept that fuses aesthetic innovation with a higher purpose. It represents a deep search for self-knowledge, an understanding of the nature of reality and a commitment to a design that transcends trends. It is an awareness that invites a personal, spiritual and human journey towards evolution and growth, while redefining aesthetic norms from an avant-garde perspective. Conscious Avant-Garde is our way of uniting fashion with a deeper and more transformative vision of the human being and his environment.

Our Commitment to Sustainability

At Anathema, we believe in fashion as a conscious expression. That’s why we produce each garment in small batches, based exclusively on the materials we find. We use high-quality end-of-stock fabrics and textile waste and certified organic materials, giving new life to existing resources and minimising environmental impact. This philosophy not only ensures the exclusivity of our pieces, but also a responsible approach to production, where each collection is born from the union of creativity, ethics and sustainability

Our Journey and Achievements

This fall 2024, Anathema had the honor of participating in the Rec.0 in Igualada, thanks to winning the 080 Barcelona Fashion competition, which recognizes and supports emerging designers with innovative proposals.

In 2023, we were selected to partecipate in the prestigious Barcelona Fashion Forward programme, an initiative of Barcelona City Council and Disseny Hub, which promotes emerging creative talent and sustainable design in fashion.
